Sydney is the city for celebration – and Christmas time is no different. Packed full of events, this December is sure to ignite your festive cheer with bon bons, lights, crowds and more!

Choirs in the City (November 26 – December 22)

What better way to get into the Christmas spirit than to surround yourself with harmonic festive carols? Carols in the City in Martin Place and Pitt Street Mall will have you and the kids singing along to all the classics. You’ll also be able to catch some Christmas performances in Pitt Street Mall every Thursday, Saturday and Sunday night from November 25 – December 21.

Breakfast with Santa at Gledswood Homestead (December 23)

The beautiful Gledswood Homestead is the perfect backdrop for your special Breakfast with Santa event. Get your fill of a scrumptious summer Christmas buffet breakfast complete with tea, filtered coffee and juices, and be prepared for an exciting visit from the big man himself! Held from 8:30am to 12pm, this is one magical morning you won’t want to miss.

Christmas Wonderland (December 16 – 24)

Head to the Sydney Showground this Christmas for a whimsical Christmas Wonderland, where you can uncover some of the most beautiful and awe-inspiring Christmas displays Sydney has to offer. Here you and the kids can enjoy festive rides, go ice-skating on the ice rink, be entertained by performers, and be dazzled by all the lights brightening the sky. Tickets are required, so make sure you grab some before they sell out!

Boulevard of Light (November 25 – January 2)

Take a stroll through a magical land of twinkling lights and Christmas trees at the Boulevard of Light. The walkway along Pitt Street Mall is transformed into a Christmas wonderland with thousands of LED lights, perfect for getting in the Christmas spirit and making some lifelong memories with the family. Best of all, entry is free!

Christmas Lights Spectacular (November 3 – January 27)

Prepare to be dazzled by the Christmas Lights Spectacular, held in the beautiful Hunter Valley Gardens from 5:30pm to 10pm. This stunning display boasts over 2 million lights, making it the Southern Hemisphere’s biggest Christmas light display. There will be plenty of family fun with a ferris wheel, carousel, swing chair, and children’s music group, Little Scallywagz, performing nightly. With plenty of food and beverage stalls, you can feast your eyes and your tastebuds at this remarkable event. Just keep in mind the Christmas Lights Spectacular is closed on Christmas Day.
